Overview

ABOUT THE HOST

Mandated by the former Tourism and Industrial Development Company of Trinidad and Tobago (TIDCO), The Trinidad and Tobago Tour Guides’ Association (TTTGA) was established in October 1997.  The Association under Trade Union regulations has the vision of standardising the service of our local Tour Guides as well as the information being disseminated, thereby increasing their professionalism and, by extension, uplifting the nation’s tourism product.

ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE

Travel up the Northern Range to the home of the Asa Wright Nature Centre and Lodge, a 1,500 acres of mostly forested estate,  one of the top bird watching spots in the Caribbean. There is a tour of the flora and fauna of the area. Later you can either relax on the open air veranda while sipping on a cup of locally grown coffee or visit the waterfall for a dip in a pool of cool mountain water.  Reservations for lunch can be made as well as the opportunity to purchase tea, local coffee and snacks.
