ABOUT THE HOST
Mandated by the former Tourism and Industrial Development Company of Trinidad and Tobago (TIDCO), The Trinidad and Tobago Tour Guides’ Association (TTTGA) was established in October 1997. The Association under Trade Union regulations has the vision of standardising the service of our local Tour Guides as well as the information being disseminated, thereby increasing their professionalism and, by extension, uplifting the nation’s tourism product.
ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE
We head north by auto over the winding mountain road of the Northern Range towards Maracas Bay and the quaint villages of Blanchisseuse and Morne La Croix, before taking an easy 30mins hike through the forest and down the Marianne River to arrive at the Avocat 50’ breathtaking waterfall hidden in the mountainous area off the Arima/Blanchisseuse road. There you will enjoy the many features of this beautiful waterfall – its pools for swimming, rocks for climbing and deep plunge pools for relaxing, all the while being gently massaged by cool mountain waters. This is an ideal tour for families and children.
